
This course revolves around the development and delivery of digital content in education. Digital content can be digital photos, digital audio and digital video. Many online resources are available for editing, storing and sharing digital photos. Podcasting is developing audio and video materials that are available online. Pocket Video cameras now allow educators the opportunity to develop video components easily and cost effectively. Participants will gain an understanding of digital content. Participants will learn how to gather digital images, edit and share images in an offline and online environment. Participants will learn how to create podcasts (digital audio/video materials), edit and share podcast in an offline and online environment. Participants will learn how to gather digital video thru the use of pocket video cameras, edit and share video material in an offline and online environment. One hour of Kent State University graduate credit is available for an additional 150.00. Participants must sign up for credit during the first class and must attend all four sessions to receive credit. Cost: 175.00 per participants (Graduate Credit at an additional 150.00 per participant) Classes take place on every THURSDAY of the month from 4:30pm-7:00pm at the Western Reserve 21st Century Learning Center in Kent.
