Camp Google for Educators: Communicate, Collaborate and Create!!! [Register]

Presenter: Trained Camp Google Counselors July 28th, 2009 - July 30th, 2009 Western Reserve 21st Century Learning Center, 1750 Campus Center Drive, Kent, Ohio Focusing on three core areas of 21st century learning skills “communicate, collaborate and create”, Camp Google (a three day professional development session) will utilize Google Tools that focus on these core areas such as Google Docs (an online application allowing for collaborative development of word processed, presentation and spreadsheet applications); Picasa (a photo editing and online sharing application); SketchUp (a computer assisted drawing application); and Gmail and Google Calendar applications as well as many other free resources from the Google "suite" of applications. One hour of graduate credit will be available from Kent State University at an additional cost of 125.00. The cost will be 50.00 per participant. Registered participants can also choose a technology option which includes a netbook for an additional cost of 350.00. ****When registering, please use the comment section to include the technology component (a netbook) for an additional 350.00*** |

This series will have one full-day seminar on site, plus online work and a half-day meeting to review the attendees’ work. The following professional development sessions offer the opportunity to earn one hour of college credit from Kent State University for an additional fee.
